E3light es un grupo danés especializado en la iluminación eficiente y de diseño, con más de 15 años de trayectoria en todo el norte de Europa y Estados Unidos, se ha convertido en todo un referente en el mercado.  

 

Además de su oficina central en Lystrup (Dinamarca) la compañía cuenta con oficinas en Estados Unidos, España, Suecia Y Alemania. En total el grupo cuenta con más de 200 empleados de gran recorrido profesional. 

 

En e3light ideamos, fabricamos y distribuimos soluciones de iluminación para necesidades y sectores muy variados. Desde hace más de una somos especialista en la produción de bombillas CFL, halógenas y LEDs.

El nuestro es un modelo de negocio vertical por lo que en todos nuestros productos combinamos la investigación, el desarrollo, el diseño, la fabricación, la logística, las ventas y el marketing para crear así soluciones de iluminación únicas de gran avance tecnológico que nos permiten ofrecer precios únicos. 

Todos nuestros productos nacen de una idea, una idea que se va transformando y va cobrando forma a medida que pasa por los diferentes departamentos y equipos de la compañía, hasta que finalmente se transforma en algo palpable que surte de nuestros centros de producción.

Our Philosophy

The e3light slogan is “light that matters”.  We back this up with the three e’s that make up the foundation of the company: economy, energy, environment.  We offer energy efficient products to lower energy consumption and cut down on energy expenses.  Our products last longer and operate cleaner cutting down on landfill deposits and reducing CO2 emissions. 

e3light is very committed to environmental issues and is award that the world needs to change to more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly light sources. The group wants to be an active member of this change thus works daily to become a strong example. For this reason all e3light activities and products follow the 3 E's Principle Environment, Economy and Energy Environment - longer life – reduced CO2 emissions Economy - value for money - energy savings Energy - higher efficiency - lower consumption The company is powered by 100% wind power. And we use only renewable wind energy for its production facilities.

Additionally, e3light has joined BSCI, Business Social Compliance Initiative. Quality control is an important focus for e3light.

The company has implemented standards and policies to ensure that the products are consistently at the highest levels of quality. e3light carefully selects manufacturing partners and suppliers based on a number of ISO qualifications, to ensure that the product quality complies with the highest standards set by e3light. Company performs regular inspections of raw materials and components, and finished goods are thoroughly tested to ensure the highest possible product quality. e3light certified by numerous internationally approved standards, including SA8000, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18000.

“The idea of mylight is to create a source that can make life easier and safer for many people who have to be out of bed during the night. We have designed mylight to be as flexible as possible so that each user can customize it to their needs in relation to the location”, says Kasper Daugaard, Country Manager of e3light Spain.

 

The management team is dedicated and committed to each and every project and places high importance on communication, collaboration and teamwork. The goals of the company and their managers is to lead by example and create an active, positive and outcome oriented environment for the employees. Feedback and working in harmonic teams are key to their strategy and objectives.

E3light is a very young company, with an age average of 32 years (Lübker, 2014). Due to its youthfulness, the company is very energetic and enthusiastic. Every employee, who works in the headquarters, is a specialist in a specific section and has all the required skills and mistakes, the company has made before. They participate in every discussion, also decision making process in order to avoid any mistakes. Even though the average is young, we have an experienced team working on every project that is very capable and motivated.

Founder – Flemming Viktor Andersen and CEO Morten Lübker

Denmark - Steen Paulsen, before e3light has been working in Hästens, Thorsen Møbler A/S and Montana companies as a B2B sales manager.

USA - Craig de Groot, USA Country manager, was working in Noir A/S in Copenhagen, Anne Klein as sales director.

Spain Kasper Daugaard,was working in L’Oreal, Miinto Group and Nykredit bank. 

Logistics manager – Thomas Dalgaard, many useful contacts with transportation companies, knows distribution costs worldwide, and has the experience to deliver the cheapest, fastest and most effective solution

Financial manager – Camilla Molloy, qualified and works very thoroughly

Customer assistant and Administrator – Randi Munk Madsen, service specialist knows the entire product portfolio and assisting sales force with follow-ups 

Production manager – Morten Kristensen, good skills at communicating with Chinese employees and once per month visits e3light factories in China to see how product manufacturing can be improved 

Warehouse manager – Claus Haahr, manages inventory, materials and the processes of moving equipment, materials an finished goods

Production designer – Jens Vang, design of product specification, packaging and content

Graphic designer/Marketing– Kåre Thuran, experienced and creative to work on advertising campaigns including video, websites and projects

IT specialist – Anders Grønlund, broad technological knowledge, which helps to keep company up-to-date and communicate well internally

CUL – mark is applicable for products in the Canadian market. Products with the mark indicate that they comply with Canadian safety standards, which are basically same to reference standards of United States UL.

CE – European marking of conformity that indicates a product complies with the essential requirements of the applicable European laws or directives with respect to safety, health, environment and consumer protection 

NOM – The mark approval for the Mexican Market that is imported into the country. Products need to be tested in an accredited EMA Laboratory.

FSC - Environmentally appropriate forest management ensures that the harvest of timber and non-timber products maintains the forest's biodiversity, productivity, and ecological processes.

FCC - The Federal Communications Commission regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories. An independent U.S. government agency overseen by Congress, the commission is the United States' primary authority for communications law, regulation and technological innovation

 

International Standards Organization (ISO) 

ISO is the world’s largest developer of voluntary International Standards. International Standards give state of the art specifications for products, services and good practice, helping to make industry more efficient and effective. Developed through global consensus, experts from all over the world develop the standards that are required by their sector. This means they reflect a wealth of international experience and knowledge. 

 

ISO9001 – Quality Management, sets out the requirements of a quality management system

ISO14001 – Environmental Management, sets out the criteria for an environmental management system and can be certified to. It does not state requirements for environmental performance, but maps out a framework that a company or organization can follow to set up an effective environmental management system. It can be used by any organization regardless of its activity or sector. Using ISO 14001:2004 can provide assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.

Social Accountability International (SAI)

SAI works to protect the integrity of workers around the world by building local capacity and developing systems of accountability through socially responsible standards. SAI established one of the world's preeminent social standard – the SA8000 standard for decent work.

 

SA8000 - It is one of the world’s first auditable social certification standards for decent workplaces, across all industrial sectors. It is based on conventions of the ILO, UN and national law, and spans industry and corporate codes to create a common language to measure social compliance. It takes a management systems approach by setting out the structures and procedures that companies must adopt in order to ensure that compliance with the standard is continuously reviewed. Those seeking to comply with SA8000 have adopted policies and procedures that protect the basic human rights of workers
